Measure length, width and height with a consistent axis convention. Allow space for connectors, cable bends, mounting brackets and service access. To convert millimeters to inches, divide by 25.4. Do not infer actual product dimensions from a concept illustration.

Bring useful information to the discussion

Provide the equipment model, existing electrical configuration and a dimensioned drawing of the available installation space. Unknown values should be recorded as unknown, not estimated from a photograph.
